Hi everyone! I arrived in Amman at 3 a.m. this morning local time. I've been awake for about 3 hours so I really have nothing to report so far, but I wanted to let everyone know that I got in okay. Check back in the next couple of days for a real post. Love you all!

- I am a 21 year old journalism student from Denver, Colo. For the next five months I will travel to the most "dangerous" and "uncharted" corners of our world in search of the stories that haven't been told. I will deliver them here. I have absolutely no accreditation and very little experience. I don't even have a degree. But I promise to tell the truth and to leave no detail out as my reporting takes me into the darkest jungles of India and the most perilous deserts of the Middle East. I may not survive, as many of you have so often reminded me. But so long as my stories continue to be posted on this blog you will know I have eluded death at least one more time.
